Payton Wright Named Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club November Student of the Month

Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Payton Wright as its student of the month for November.

A daughter of Heather and Everett Wright of Mather, Wright is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.26 GPA.

Wright is president of Leo Club, vice president of National Honor Society, and senior class secretary/treasurer.  She is also involved in peer jury, academic team, and SADD.  She is a member of the volleyball and softball teams

Wright participates in the Keep America Beautiful roadside cleanup camp campaign, packs backpacks for the school’s weekend food program, and rings bells for the Salvation Army.

Upon graduation, Wright plans to attend WVU to study obstetrics and gynecology.
