Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Jillian Katruska as its student of the month for December. She is a member of Jefferson Baptist Church. 

Daughter of Joey and Rochelle Katruska of Clarksville, Katruska is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 3.3 GPA.

Katruska is a member of the JM Academic Team and Debate Team.  She is the featured twirler for the JM Marching Band.

She has lettered in band, volleyball, basketball, and softball. 

Outside of school, Katruska studies dance at The Center for Performing Arts in Carmichaels.  She served as Jefferson-Morgan’s 2022-2023 Coal Queen representative . 

After graduation, Katruska would like to attend Florida Gulf Coast University or the University of South Florida  to study geology and/or chemistry.
