No+Mercy+Predictions

No Mercy will be the second SmackDown exclusive pay-per-view of the year and will consists of only wrestlers from SmackDown brand. Let’s take a look at the card and decide if No Mercy will be able to stand out in a crazy year of WWE.

Now let’s talk about a match that hasn’t been completely confirmed to be on the card. A match between Baron Corbin and Jack Swagger, this rivalry has been built up over the past weeks when Swagger was moved from Raw to SmackDown because he was “not pleased with his place in Raw.” Now this match is the least important match on the card by a large margin. Were not even completely certain if this will be a match at all. If the match happens Corbin should be the one to go over. Swagger has already had his time and he blew it, it is time for the young talent to shine.

On to the confirmed matches. The first being a rivalry match against Carmella and Nikki Bella. This feud has been going on since Nikki’s return to active competition, when during an interview Carmella turned heel and attacked Nikki from behind. With Carmella winning the first encounter of the two on Backlash I believe Nikki will get her revenge and make it 1-1 to set up for a much bigger match down the line. Now i believe that Carmella should come out of the rivalry as the victor , but it would not hurt to give Nikki the win here.

The first title match of the night will be for the Tag Titles. It will see the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno defend their championship against the Usos. This will be a fine match against two capable teams, with the Usos playing their new “Thug” heel gimmick to perfection and Heath and Rhyno being the quirky yet effective baby face pairing. This is the only match on witch i can say either team winning is a good thing. With an Uso victory we will them become the unstoppable tag force running through the division, but I have to pick Heath and Rhyno to win. They are just starting their tag rain and I believe they should keep them strong with a win.\

The next match will be for the Women’s Championship. I pick champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against Alexa Bliss. Now where Alexa is a great wrestler and is more than deserving of a belt, Becky has just gotten her hands on the strap and I believe it will be the best to keep her as a strong champion and maybe have her drop the belt at a later pay-per-view.

Now onto the scariest match of the night. Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton. Bray Wyatt desperately needs something her, he has fallen into obscurity and has lost his ability to be seen as any kind of real threat. The WWE needs to put Bray over in this one, he needs this win over a big name to save him, but that’s not going to happen. I have a horrible feeling that Bray is just going to eat another loss here and Randy will just set his sights on the WWE World Title.

The third title match of the night will see a Title vs Career Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. It will be The Miz putting his IC title against the career of Dolph Ziggler. This will be the third ( and I believe final) match against these two men for the IC title. Both of these men have been on a roll lately just feeding of one another’s chemistry. The Miz has perfected the  cocky heel persona and Dolph plays one sympathetic character. I personally believe this will be the best match of the night with both men putting their bodies on the line in a show stopping match. I think the WWE should shock the world and have Dolph come up short one last time, losing the match and in turn losing his career.

Now the fourth and final title match will see AJ Styles try to defend his WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a triple threat match. This match is going to be spectacular. The top three guys on the big blue brad will all put out an amazing showing with spectacular spots and heart stopping false finishes, but in the end there can be only one champion and that will be the phenomenal AJ Styles. He is just too good as the champion for them to end it here.

And that’s what No Mercy will be looking like Sunday. Next wednesday you can catch the review of the show by Eli Rafail here on the Rocket Reporter.
