Halloween is my favorite holiday. The weather is great because it’s always cold. You have pumpkin carving, pumpkin candles, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin coffee, and best of all the pumpkin patches. As a kid, I always loved going there and picking out my pumpkin.

Another reason why Halloween is my favorite holiday because of the excessive amount of candy you get from trick or treating. All of the tv shows have that Halloween special episode and they’re usually one of the best episodes of the season. My all-time favorite is “Halloween” (Modern Family), and “Halloween Part 2” (American Horror Story).  Can’t forget about the Halloween movies either, Halloweentown, Halloweentown 2, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Hocus Pocus. There’s also nothing like a good horror movie to get in the Halloween mood.

Also, Halloween is the best holiday due to the Halloween attractions, like Fright Farm for example. I’ve personally never been to one but plan on going to one this year. Costume parties are honestly the best parties.  You don’t have to plan a cute outfit or spend forever trying to match your jewelry to your shoes because you can look absolutely ridiculous and no one will judge you. These are just some of the reasons why Halloween is my favorite holiday.
