Missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Been too busy to go out and get gifts for your significant other? Well no worry because this article has you covered. After extensive research this list will provide a myriad of options, for the gamer in your life,  ranging from 15$ – $60. .

Overwatch is a class based action game and is by far the most recommended game on this list in my opinion. It is the latest and greatest product for the games industry titan known as Blizzard who has made other extremely popular titles such as World of Warcraft, Starcraft and Hearthstone. Overwatch has won multiple awards over the short span that it has been released such as best multiplayer game, Esports game best studio/ game direction and won Game of the year all from The 2016 Game Awards.

Next up is a reboot to the infamous game series that inspired and pioneered the entire game industry. Doom is the most recent addition to the Doom franchise, that was first released in 1993. This game was developed by the original founders of the series, iD Software and published by the game industry powerhouse known as Bethesda. This game won best action game, also won the best music/sound design in The Game Awards 2016.

Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series, and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. This game is set apart from the others due to the unique setting of World War 1, its brutal yet realistic look at war, and how barbaric it can be, and is a personal favorite of mine.

The next game is a personal favorite of mine, Firewatch is a independent first-person mystery adventure game developed by Campo Santo and published by Campo Santo and Panic. Ryan McCaffrey, an IGN game critic, had this to say about the game,  “It’s tense, scary, and funny – sometimes all within a few minutes of each other. Not a lot of games can successfully claim that.” Firewatch was nominated for countless awards such as; best narrative and best voice acting, it also won the award for Best Indie Game of 2016 in The Game Awards. It is also the cheapest game on this list, running at 20 USD on the Steam Store.

These amazing titles can be purchased nearly anywhere and everywhere due to their absurd quality and desirability, however there is one last recommendation. The Steam Store is marketplace offered by Valve for their client Steam. This marketplace is known for two sales  per year, one in mid summer (around mid-late June to early July) and one in December before and after the holiday season. The deals offered by these sales are absolutely absurd, around everything being 50% off and some being even better deals leading up to 95%, that often resulting in the store crashing the first day of the sale. These games are also sold digitally which require no shipping fees and are not taxed.
