My little sister was born on January 8, 2012. She was my first sister and since she was born, she has taught me many things.

The first thing my sister has taught me is to always watch what I am saying because even though I may think nothing of it, it may not always be kind. Since she could learn how to speak, my sister was taught what was kind and what was not. I never thought about the things I said until she started correcting me. I used to call my brother names, things like stupid, and I never thought anything of it. Now my sister has taught me that those things are not kind.

My sister has taught me to cherish every moment I have with her. I do not see my sister as often as I would like, and as she has gotten older she has realized this as well. She gets very upset when I have to leave her. I have learned to enjoy what time I am able to have with those that I love.

Another thing my sister has taught me is to love unconditionally. Before my sister, I do not think I ever loved another human more. I have watched her grow into the most beautiful and intelligent 3 year old that I have ever met in my entire life. She has such a big heart and is friendly to everyone she meets. Even though she is only 3 years old, I aspire to be more like her every day
