The Greene County 4-H Steer Club joined with the Greene County 4-H Rabbit Club to go Christmas caroling on Saturday December 17th, 2017, members visited several retirement homes around Greene County.

All members, parents, volunteers, and leaders met at the 4-H Building at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Everyone participating was  transported to Rolling Meadows and Respicare and Rehab to sing. It had took approximately an hour and a half to sing to all the places listed.  Singing to the elderly at the homes is a great way to bring some cheer, laughter, and fun to their holidays to the community.

The volunteers for the event concluded their cheerful singing by passing out candy canes to those in the homes as well. The day was filled with many laughs, comforting stories, smiles, and songs.
