This weekend, I will travel to Clarion University to meet my potential roommate. I am both nervous and excited for this trip. Alyssa, my potential roommate, and I have been talking for about two months. I knew making new friends in college was something I would have to do, but I thought it would be a little harder than is. Almost everything about college is scary to me, so it was nice to have a break from all of the worrying. Clarion has a page on Facebook where students can contact one another, and that is where I met Alyssa. From this Facebook page, I have also made a small amount of new friends. The process was not difficult or scary at all, it was actually a little fun.

I am very excited to travel to Clarion this weekend to revisit the campus and meet my roommate. While at Clarion, I will also have a chance to meet other admitted students, and professors. This gives potential students a chance to see what the college life is really like. For the past year, I have been very excited to get out into the world, and see what life is really like. For the weekend, that time is finally here.

While visiting Clarion, I hope to find that the college life is not as scary and difficult as it seems. I hope to make more friends, and really get to know my professors.
