Jailbreaking

Jailbreaking

Jail breaking is the act of surpassing the devices software, thus making apps and other things available on the device that weren’t there with the software. There are some pros and cons of being able to jailbreak your device. Apple has recently run into problems with viruses since so many people have been jail breaking their devices.

Camden Maskil is against the act of jail breaking. He said, “I do not like it because you cannot update your phone after jailbreaking your device. It also causes it to run slow and you could easily lose everything on your phone.”

I would personally jailbreak my phone just because of all the cool stuff I would be able to do with it. I know that I would be at risk to get a major bug in my phone, but it would be completely worth it. I know a good bit of people around school who often jailbreak their devices. They can do so many cool things with their device and it makes me super jealous.

Zack Tedrow is for jail breaking electronic devices and he actually has broken many of his devices. He said, “I enjoy the customization end of it, because it makes my device look cool. It also frees up your phone for much more fun.”

Jail breaking can affect cyber space very badly. So many harmful viruses can attack various devices. It is tough to even get through the jail breaking process without messing up your device permanently.  I think that if Apple as well as Android would not be so stingy with their prices there would less jail breaking.
