Too Old for Halloween

By the time we’re in middle school, trick or treating should be a thing of the past. Most places have a age restriction, but yet there are still 16 and 17 year olds going. Carving pumpkins is alright if you’re doing it with younger children. If you still trick or treat in high school, that is immature. Come on, people are that old and still dress up? Trick or treat should be a chapter laid to rest, unless you pass out candy.

In Mather on Halloween, the town is packed. So, most of the candy is going to be gone by the time it’s over. All the teenagers will take all the candy from the little ones. All it does is ruin the fun for the others. I think you should not give any high schoolers candy for Halloween. If the teens want the candy, then they should go to the store and buy it. Most high school  teens have a job, so they should have the money to buy it. Also, the teens could be passing out candy and helping the adults. It would make the process more smooth. Lastly, most people agree that it is pathetic for the teens to trick or treat. If you’re not trick or treating, then pass out candy or do other normal high school things. For example, go to friends or go to the mall.

Overall, trick or treat is a joke. Teens shouldn’t ruin the fun for the elementary kids. Nothing is that exciting about it anyways.
