Student council holds many different fundraisers throughout the year. The next fundraiser they are having is the dance marathon, which is being held on March 24th. This will be held in the schools gym during school, and any one in grades 9 through 12 can attend for only $10.

Like many of the other fundraisers student council holds, the dance marathon is made to benefit someone in the community. All of the money raised from this will be donated to the Santa Fund. The Santa Fund allows students to donate presents and letters to children in need. The fundraisers that student council holds also allows students to become more involved with their community. These students become aware of what is going on in their community and how they can help make a chance for the better.

Any student who wishes to sign up for the dance marathon can see Mrs. Fulks in room 208. The last day to sign up is March 17th, and students must have the $10 when signing up. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this dance marathon and help out those in need.
