Art 2 students completed their Bob Ross paintings on Thursday, March 7th during Mr. Lesko’s 6th period.

Bob Ross was an American Painter, art instructor, and television host. Ross was the creator and host of the famous show, The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States and a few other countries. Ross also proudly served his country from 1961-1981 as a United States Air Men in the United States Air Rorce. Ross sadly passed away on July 4th 1995, but his paintings still inspire millions to bring out their inner artist. You can find his videos on Youtube or you can visit his website to purchase DVD’s, E-Books, and much more!

Mr. Lesko teaches his students every year how to create their own Bob Ross painting following one of Ross’s instructional videos! To help the class learn more Mr. Lesko also completes his own creation following Ross’s video. Students finished product, along with Mr. Lesko’s, will be on display during the annual Jefferson-Morgan ART Club Art Show and Sale in May!
