Opioid Presentation Hits Hard at JM!

On Friday, October 18th Jefferson-Morgan got a visitor, Mr.Richard Levitt from the Greene County Drug and Alcohol Program.
Mr.Levitt gave a rather long presentation about not only the dangers of Drugs, more specifically opioids like fentanyl and carfentanil, and his own experiences with it.
Levitt went into great detail with specific examples and statistics from the DEA, CIA, and FBI. He rattled off fact after fact in an attempt to better educate the youth in the room. He went into detail of his sons experience with opioids and how it ended for him. The speech that was only supposed to last 45 minutes, ended up lasting a little bit less than 3 hours.
