The last basketball season for both the boys and the girls teams was played at home on February 7, 2023. Both teams played West Greene.

Everyone was emotional about these talented seniors leaving Jefferson Morgan. Jillian Katriska, Preston Woods, Jordan Jacobs, Nathen Wei, and Troy Wright. They all have done an amazing job keeping their JM Pride with them throughout their years in this school. This article is mostly for them because this will be their last year playing with a team of high schoolers.

I asked Preston Woods what his best memory was playing basketball and he said, “Winning the Christmas tournament at Carmichael’s. “. I also asked Troy Wright for a quote and he said, “I’m glad my last home game was a win!” It sounds like these seniors really enjoyed their last game and played hard.
