Christina Schamp is a K-2 learning support teacher at Jefferson- Morgan School District. She has been with the district for about six months now.
As a K-2 learning support teacher, Schamp develops individual education plans for students and ensures that students are learning in the least restrictive environment.
“I enjoy the environment, my co-workers, the students, and the supportive administration,” said Schamp.
A surprising fact about Schamp is that she taught in Germany and New Zealand for one year.
Schamp grew up in Mather and graduated from Jefferson Morgan High School. She has two dogs: Cami, a four-year old husky pit bull mix, and Kobe, a two-year old lab pit mix.
Schamp loves to play basketball and has gotten into boxing recently. She also enjoys going to concerts.
“The last concert I attended was Post Malone,” said Schamp.
In the future, you may see Schamp headlining at a comedy club. She is an aspiring comedian.
If she were not a teacher, her dream job would be a travel guide enthusiast.
