Student of the Month GS was selected as Lions Club Student of the Month for December.
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Gabriel Schmidt as its student of the month for April.
Son of Linda Schmidt and Thomas Viencek of Rices Landing, Schmidt is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.98 GPA.
Schmidt is a six-year member of the Jefferson-Morgan Marching Band and is section leader. He is a five-year member of the Jefferson-Morgan Concert Band and is first chair flute.
Schmidt plans to attend college after high school to study computer sciences and political science. One day, Schmidt hopes to become a lead code engineer or a U.S. senator.
