The Jefferson-Morgan 2018-2019 homecoming queen is senior Kaitlin Wood. She was awarded this title on Friday, October 19th, during halftime of the football game.

Wood was escorted by her brother, Gavin Wood. As well as being the homecoming queen, Kaitlin is a member of the National honor Society, Leo Club, and the peer mentoring program. She is the vice president of the senior class as well as the editor for the yearbook.

“I was shocked that I got on homecoming court this year, let alone won homecoming queen. Either of the two other senior candidates would have made a great queen, too, and I’m really honored I got this opportunity,” said Wood.

Kaitlin will be invited to come to next year’s homecoming football game to crown the next queen.
