Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Brittany Nelson as its student of the month for October.
Nelson, daughter of Sherrie and Jeff Nelson of Clarksville, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.48 GPA.
Nelson is a member of National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, engineering team, and Envirothon (president). She volunteers at Carmichaels Public Library.
She plans to attend Penn State University to study engineering.
