Hershey Park is teaming up with The School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania to create an essay contest for students in grades 5-11.

The age groups are broken into grades 5-8 and 9-11, with the topic being both why school meals are an important part of the school day and how receiving a school lunch has an impact on your education. The essays are due by April 30th and will be judged on spelling and grammar. They must be between 250 and 500 words.

Winners of this contest will present their essay at the the School Nutrition Association of Pennsylvania Annual Conference President’s Dinner in Hershey, PA on the 30th of July. They will be presented with 4 tickets to Hershey Park and 1 overnight stay for 4.

All essays can be turned into [email protected], or given to Mrs. Herold in the guidance office.
