The middle/senior Rocket band gained another trophy after their first place win at the annual Buckwheat Festival.

The 78th Preston County Buckwheat festival theme was “A Treasure Trove of Sights & Sounds.” The Buckwheat started on Thursday, September 26th and closed on Sunday, September 29th, and is full of parades, arts and crafts, a car show, carnival, livestock, a pageant, and of course those delicious Buckwheat Cake dinners served all weekend long.

The Rocket band traveled to the festival after school on Thursday and competed in the parade and they were also able to join in on the festivities after too.

Congratulations to the Rocket Band on another successful win!
