Brennan Kozich is a junior and a member of the Jefferson-Morgan Basketball team.

Kozich has played basketball for seven years, and he plans on playing for one more year. He joined because many of his friends played. He has no plans to play in college or professionally. Brennan plays the position of power forward on his team, and enjoys what he does.

Brennan says the most challenging part of this sport is “having to run up and down the court.”

Kozich has prepared for this season by running and practicing shots. He hopes his team will win a lot this season. Brennan not only has hopes for his team, but has also set a personal goal.

Brennan hopes to “score a lot of points, and get a lot of rebounds” this season.

He learns from his coaches and betters himself. He appreciates his coaches, especially Coach Robinson.

“He taught me how to play and has coached me since sixth grade.”

He plans to play basketball throughout his high school career, but will not continue playing in college. Though it can be a difficult sport, Brennan enjoys it.
