Diari Davis is a senior and a member of the basketball team.

Davis plays the position of forward on the basketball team. He has been playing basketball since the sixth grade. Davis says his grandmother inspired him to play the sport.

Davis’ favorite memory so far of the season is the game against Frazier. “I feel that I played very well as well as playing together with my team.”

Davis lettered last year and hopes to letter again this year. His favorite thing about basketball is being with his friends and winning.

“Some things are difficult, but we work together as a team and calm each other down,” said Davis.

One of Davis’ pregame rituals is his pregame handshake and dance circle. He feels all these years have gone by really fast, and that it is crazy how this is his last year to play basketball for Jefferson-Morgan.

Davis does not plan to continue his basketball career after high school. One of his goals this season is to make playoffs. Good luck to Diari Davis and the rest of the basketball team this season!
