Jacob VanDivner is a senior and a member of the football team as tightened and middle linebacker.

VanDivner has played football throughout high school and has been playing since second grade.

“I remember my dad pushing me to play when I was young,” VanDivner said that was what inspired him.

Jacob is thinking about going on to play college football. If he does play he said he wants to play for West Virginia University.

“I want to letter and maybe get a touchdown,”said VanDivner.

“When I step out on the field it’s a feeling like nothing else. When you step on, you block everything out and it’s just you and your brothers,” said VanDivner.

Jacob said his favorite part about playing football is just being part of the team. “Those guys have been with me for 9+ years and its just a blast,” said VanDivner.

For Jacob football obviously is not just a sport to play, he loves the team and the sport all together. He maybe wants to play in college and playing football would help him with that because of him getting recognized for college and possibly scholarships. Even if he decides not to play in college he has good memories from high school.
