Kayla Pendland is a senior and a member of the Jefferson Morgan cheer squad.

“I started in second grade because I thought that cheerleaders were so pretty and that it was an honor to cheer on our school,” Kayla said after asking her when she started cheer.

She likes cheering for wrestling, especially at home games. Kayla’s favorite memory from her cheering career was cheering in the elementary. She likes cheering for all the sports teams and being a part of the games. Her goals are to have better jumps and to be a better athlete.

Kayla is inspired to cheer because she likes to “support our school and all of the athletes.”
