Austin DeFrank is a junior and a member of the basketball team.

 

DeFrank has stated that basketball is his favorite sport.  He is a center on the varsity squad this year and hopes to contribute to his team in multiple ways.

 

“I hope to up my numbers in points as well as rebounds this year,” explained DeFrank.  “I feel like I am a strong player and I can help the team be successful.

 

The team may be slightly younger this year, but DeFrank has confidence that the chemistry within the team can help them win games.

 

“Our team chemistry is great, we’ve all been playing together for a long time.”  DeFrank would then continue to explain who he thinks his chemistry is best with. “I probably work best with Diari, we are good friends off the court and we know each other’s style of play very well.”

 

DeFrank enjoys the sport of basketball for many reasons.  He has played it for years now and has strong aspects to his game.  He said he enjoys the game because he likes to hit jump shots in the faces of defenders.

 

An important part of the game to some players is pre-game rituals.  DeFrank decided to share his,  “I listen to Adele and eat cold ham.”
DeFrank looks forward to making large contributions to his team and lead them to su
