Colten Davidson is a junior and a football player for Jefferson-Morgan High School.

Davidson is a 2 year letterman up to this point and he would like to become a 3 year letterman this year. Every year that he could play high school football and football in general, he has and this year is no exception.

“I’ve been playing football for 11 years now, and I’ve never looked back,” Davidson explains. “Whatever the year is where you can first start playing football is when I started playing, so I’ve been at this for a long time,” said Davidson.

Football is a team game and Davidson looks to help the team in every way possible. He knows that he needs to improve in some areas to help the team, but he knows where he is strong. In addition, he is currently playing in the positions or running back and linebacker.

“I think my running back and linebacker skills help the team in a big way, ” says Davidson. “I could be better as in being bigger, stronger, and faster, but I’m working on those,” explained Davidson. “So far the football team is alright, but we could be better, and we know that so we are really working hard for that first win.”

Even though football is a team sport, setting personal goals, having role models, and good memories can ignite a fire in you that can carry over to team and make a team successful.

“I look up to Christian McCaffrey and try to model after him to help make the team better,” he says. “A good memory of football for me was at West Greene when I made a good tackle that possibly saved the game,” explained Davidson. “One of my future goals in high school football is to make all conference, and if we all strive for that, this team will be great!”
