Madelyn VanDivner is a junior and a member of the volleyball team.

VanDivner has been participating in volleyball since her seventh grade year.

VanDivner was asked if she could pick any position on the court to be, which would she pick. VanDivner answered, “I definitely love my position more than all of the others but if I had to switch, I would pick middle hitter because they constantly get to block.”

VanDivner is a right block, right back, for the team. As the rotations happen, she rotates towards middle back then left back.

“I love volleyball because it gets me excited about everything. It gets my energy higher up and it’s so fun to play.” VanDivner said.

VanDivner’s favorite moment in volleyball would be her first game ever. She was so nervous but as she played, she enjoyed it so much more.

“I try to do my best in volleyball because it is one of my favorite sports by far. It has always been a blast for me to get out on the court and have fun. I just truly love volleyball.”
