Abigail Ankrom is a junior and a member of the varsity volleyball team.

Ankrom has played volleyball for five years now and has loved every second of it. She has many memories just from this sport. Abigail plays libero which is in the back row.

Ankrom was moved to libero this year. This is a whole new position for her. She is in this position because she is a good passer.

One of Abigail’s favorite memories from this year is winning the Chartiers-Houston Invitational tournament. She has many goals as well as the team. Abigail wants to have less missed serves than last year. “The team really wants to beat Carmichaels and Geibel this year.”

With five years of experience, Ankrom has a lot of knowledge of the game. She says its never to late to start and if a student really wants play, “Work hard and never give up.”
