Dear students and parents, Jefferson-Morgan Middle/High School Drama Club is excited to share their recent efforts. They are hosting a Seussical based on the popular book and movie The Cat in the Hat on March 9 starting at 2 and ending at 4pm.The Cat in the Hat was a book written by Dr. Seuss in 1957. He was a famous kids author that gained popularity for his unique rhymes and child friendly ideas. Unfortunately he later passed away in 1991.
Despite his passing, the books he made remain popular among many groups of people. The Cat in the Hat was one of his most popular books that were later converted into a cartoon and a live action movie. The Drama Club decided to choose the live action form of The Cat in the Hat to show its comedic and family friendly aspects. So grab your family and friends to enjoy the playful adventures of The Cat in the Hat!
