Yes, I do think that the government has the right to force apple to unlock phones for certain reasons only. I don’t think that they should be allowed to do it just because. If the reason is serious enough and someone is in danger and unlocking the phone could help, they definitely should. I don’t think that they should take risk though. If you know for a fact that unlocking the phone will help, then unlock it, but if you are saying well, I don’t know, but maybe it could help then no.

Honestly, I don’t know if they should listen to this rule because there are good and bad sides to both. I personally say that phones have personal things on them whether it is good or bad. If you have trouble talking to people and have issues with trust and you decide to confide in someone through text you obviously aren’t going to want your business out there. If you tell someone something it should be between you and that person and other people shouldn’t have access to it. I know that if I’m around people and someone ask me if I’m okay and do I need to talk I would say no and go on about my day. If that same person asked me that over a text, I would more than likely open up to them. Its private and I know no one would know about it unless that person told. So I mean, I don’t know to be honest in certain cases for safety yes, but then if it unlocks after a certain amount of times anyone can get on it, so no.
