Why So Serious?

If I could change one thing about my school I would change how serious it is. It seems that we never get any free time ever. Students understand that students have to get work done. But I personally don’t like having everything back to back. I feel like I am suffocating. Sitting in back to back classes that you have to put your one hundred percent in with no break is exhausting. I think that it would help to do more fun activities and maybe have a free day at least once a week or once every two weeks depending on how the class works. It would be a nice reward after getting all our work completed. Even if teachers don’t like giving students free days, giving students a slight break from working everyday would be great. It is nice to get work done but also have a little like to relax and get ready for the next class. I feel that having one day to relax for example a Friday would be a great day. The class can go over what they don’t understand or play a game that will help the class. It may sound like students want it easy when all we want to do is relax a little. Between school, home, sports, clubs and work if they have a job teenagers are stressed out. I think it will keep them more focused knowing that they have an awarded free day coming up This would make school a lot more bearable through the week. There is many ways to change how serious it is but also get work done.
