New Pond in the Courtyard
The Science Olympiad and Envirothon Teams were responsible for fundraising for the materials to create the pond, and Mrs. Cox and her Environmental Issues Class helped install the pond in the courtyard.
Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps
As of this year students in grades 9th through 12th were able to join the Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps, or JROTC for short, that is provided by AG. The program teaches the students, (Cadets), character education, student achievement, wellness, leadership, and diversity. JM Youth Football Association Donations
During the summer the JM Youth Football Association had made several donations to help improve Parker Field where the Rocket football players hold their games. One of them being the new "JM" orange and white stencil for center field and the banners that surround the fence farthest from the entrance.
Jefferson Javas
Mrs. Fulks new entrepreneurship class has created a coffee shop called Jefferson Javas. The students sell coffee, and hot chocolate for $2.00 during first period and during enrichment periods.
West Greene’s Vocational Agricultural Program
Starting this year any student in grades 9-12 can sign up to be apart of the West Greene Vocational Agricultural Program also known as the Vo-Ag Program. The Vo-Ag Program allows JM students to have a hands on experience with an Agricultural education! Air Hockey and Foosball Table in the Cafeteria
Over the summer, JM Student Council purchased an air hockey, and a foosball table for the high school cafeteria. The students were excited to see these new additions on the first day of school.
