November 18, 2015 is Mickey Mouse’s Birthday. Mickey Mouse was first created in 1928 by Walt Disney.  Mickey is a mouse cartoon who wears red shorts, yellow shoes, and white gloves. The mouse first became famous from his appearance on Steamboat Willie. Mickey Mouse then continued to appear in over 100 different short-films and was nominated for several awards. In 1955 Mickey Mouse appeared on his famous TV show, Mickey Mouse Club House, with his long term girlfriend, Minnie Mouse, dog Pluto, and all of his friends Donald Duck, Goofy, and lastly his enemy Pete.

I honestly do not have a personal experience with Mickey Mouse and his friends, but when I was little I use to watch the show all the time. When I was around 4 or 5, and my brother was in kindergarten, we would wake up early just to watch Mickey Mouse Club House. My favorite character was Minnie Mouse and Trystan’s was Mickey Mouse. When my brother had to leave for school, I would stay home with my aunt watching the show all day.

Mickey Mouse turned 80 years old today. Mickey Mouse has not stared in a movie in years, but everyone knows who he is. In my opinion, I believe that everyone knows who Mickey Mouse is and if not then they must be living under a rock. Mickey made it huge staring in many movies and having his own show on television. To me Mickey has transformed so much. When he first started, Mickey was all black and white and had no shape to him. He was all flat and his head was not as round as it is today. Today Mickey is more of a 3D shape and colorful. His red shorts and yellow shoes are very vibrant. Throughout the years his feet got bigger, head got rounder, and Mickey himself got rounder. My favorite Mickey is from 1931 when he looks bigger and rounder.
