Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Leighana Gooden as its student of the month for October. Gooden, daughter of Rodney and Lacey Gooden, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan with a 3.9 GPA.
Gooden plays both volleyball and basketball.
Additionally, during her sophomore year, Gooden received a 200$ reward for perfect, consistent attendance. She also lettered and attended basketball for three years: 9th, 10th, and 11th, while lettering for two years in volleyball: 10th and 11th.
After graduation, Gooden would like to attend Waynesburg University to study finance or accounting.
