Jefferson Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Franklin Staggers as its student of the month for February. Franklin is the son of Daniel Staggers of Clarksville, and Erin Smith, also of Clarksville. Staggers is a senior at Jefferson Morgan High School where he maintains a 3.6 GPA.
Franklin was a member of the junior varsity basketball team during his sophomore and junior years. He was named to the Penn State 4.0 Club his junior year, and he is the captain of the Academic Team.
After graduation, Franklin plans to study chemical engineering at Penn State University.
