Sometimes shoes are missing a little pizazz that makes them stand out. Adding spikes or studs to your shoes could help them stand out! What you will need are a pair of shoes that you want to add spikes or studs to, spikes and studs (which can be bought at Walmart and craft stores), a leather hole puncher for spikes/studs that have screw backs, and some type of glue (e-6000 glue) for spikes/studs that do not have screw backs. For studs that do not have screw backs you will also need something to put the glue into (a bottle cap would work perfectly), and something to dip into the glue (bobby pins, toothpick, etc.).

The first thing that will need to be done is figuring out where you want the spikes and studs to be put on the shoes. After that is all figured out, for spikes/studs that have screw backs, you will need to puncture holes onto the shoes where you will want the spikes will be put. Once all the holes are punctured into the shoes you can then start to put the spikes into the holes and screw on the backs.

For studs without screw backs, what you will need to do first is put some glue (e-6000 glue) into a bottle cap and grab a bobby pin, toothpick, or something to dip into the glue. You will first need to do the same thing with these studs as you would need to with ones with screw backs: figure out where on the shoes you want the studs to go. Once that is all figured out you can start putting glue on the backs of the studs and placing them in the desired places on the shoes.

After all the stud and spike placing are finished on the shoes there are no other steps to do. Easy diy studded/spiked shoes are yours to now walk around and parade in!
