Piece by Piece
Piece by piece the Pollocks Mill Bridge is being rebuilt. After a water truck in 2014 attempted to carry far over the amount posted, the floor beams had collapsed. The bridge was constructed back in 1878 and is one of the oldest metal truss bridges in Pennsylvania. Pollocks Mill Bridge was a picture favorite place for many in the community. Many people of the area went to take senior pictures along with formal dance pictures there. A lot of people have visited the bridge whether they were fishing under it, taking pictures on it, or taking a walk or a ride over it. The Pollocks Mill Bridge is a beautiful scenery, with a train and a under pass just beside it.
