Favorite Past Time
For some people, they find girls that play video games is strange. For me personally, I am a gamer. I’m not like the “gamer” that pre orders a game as soon as it’s out. I will wait till later to get it because I’m fine with waiting. I’m different compared to other girls. I would rather spend my time playing video games than go out and socialize. There isn’t anything wrong with that though because everyone is different. I’ve been so interested in video games ever since I was a kid. I’m 17 now and still play almost every day.
I think the reason I was so fascinated by games is because as a child, I was a tom boy. I liked doing things that didn’t involve girly things. I was always the odd one out but I was fine with that. People will have their opinions about video games saying it’s nothing but a waste of time, but to be honest there are things to learn. For an example, all the Assassins Creed games have a lot of references to history.
My favorite game I’ve ever played was Bio Shock Infinite. BioShock Infinite is set in 1912 and takes place in a fictional steampunk city-state called “Columbia” named in homage to the female personification of the United States which is suspended in the air through a combination of giant blimps, balloons, reactors, propellers, and mainly quantum levitation. I can say the only down fall about playing video games is spending all that money. There was a time I spent $60 on a game and finished it within 4 days. It was kind of a bummer but then again it was worth it all in the same time. Most of my money has been spend on games just because it’s my favorite thing to do to past time. Till this day forward, I’ll always be fascinated by videogames no matter what my age is.
