When it comes to a particular sport, the most important thing is dedication and effort to succeed, but in order to achieve the success that an athlete wants; they first have to ask themselves, why am I doing this? It seems simple to understand the sport to most athletes, but some don’t truly understand what it means to do something great, something that they will remember forever in the sports they play.

In the history of sports, great athletes are the ones, who defy all knowledge of what it means to succeed at something unimaginable. When it comes to a sport, the first thing people think about an athlete is, effort and hard work, but most of the athletes don’t see it that way. A true athlete would say something about how they are going to achieve something to remember forever, not by hard work, but by staying on top of what they need to do in order to prepare their body right to win.

I myself am an athlete who sees a sport as a way to understand what it means to try hard and maybe I’ll succeed. I don’t like it when I fail at something I put too much effort into and just came up short in the end. I set goals for myself, understanding what I need to do to get better and make myself the best and most successful athlete that I can possibly be. The goals for me this year are to finish strong and believe that I can go somewhere, where I can say that I’ve done something to get here.

In conclusion, goals are a great way to get somewhere in life, because success is measured by how much effort one can give to achieve something. For many people, this can be a hard thing sometimes, because failure sets in and then the goals are set aside to be achieved later, but the goals that were set will never be crushed or forgotten.
