Self-Motivation
When it comes to sports, the only thing an athlete worries about is their performance during the sport. The sports that are associated, whether that being in the high school level or above, there are different factors that are associated with them as well.
Throughout time, the only way to play a sport was to just try it and find what’s best for the athlete, whether that being the time they have for the sport or the amount of interest that they have for the sport. In today’s world, athletes have a different kind of way that they see the sports they play. I am an athlete, who plays several sports and I see the factors of determination and self-motivation in order to play a sport. I don’t like to complain about the sports I play, because I know that I can do the things that I want to achieve, possible. I see my teammates all the time putting in the maximum effort that they can exert whether in practice or during a competition environment, like a game, or an event where it’s whoever finishes first wins. In order for me to do the best that I can while I still can, I need to find some sort of motivation or will power. All I can say about self-motivation is, that it is something powerful, like if someone gave me the strength or the awareness in order to achieve my goals. It seems as if when you need the motivation, you just got to think and be relaxed and not worry about what might happen if what you wanted didn’t happen, because who knows what could be going through the minds of the other athletes.
In conclusion, self-motivation can be a great thing, especially if you work hard and really want to go somewhere and just say that you did something worthwhile and time consuming. Although, people do sometimes struggle with finding what they need mentally need in order to succeed. In the end, self-motivation can be easily found or be a struggle and sometimes difficult task to see through.
