I can never seem to put down a book once I start reading it. Whether I really love the book or whether I do not like it so much. If it is really good and I like it a lot I will continue reading because I am so engrossed in it. I want to read what other amazing things the books has to offer for me. If it is a book that I have not grown to like very much then I will continue reading because maybe the book will get better the farther I read. Maybe something that will strike my fancy will happen at some point in the book. That does not actually happen a lot though for me. Usually If I dislike a book, then I will continue my dislike for it.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in a book. What I mean by that is that it would be pretty amazing to live inside of the story. A series that I think would be amazing to live in would be The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Personally I would probably give anything up to live in the books and see Middle Earth. Lothlórien, The Shire, Rohan, Gondor, Rivendell, and Mirkwood would be the places I would love to see. The books make them sound so fascinating. Lothlórien and Rivendell would probably be the two places I would do anything to see. The Elven realms in the trilogy always seem the most beautiful. They seem so tranquil and sound like heaven, both the Elves and the Elven realms.

Another book/story that would be phenomenal to live in would be Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. The two stories of Alice’s time in Wonderland are extraordinary. Wonderland sounds like an amazing place that I would love to go to. The story is so fascinating and it is very different. When I thought about this book whilst first reading it I could not stop thinking about the is wondrous place Wonderland. Even the name sounds fascinating and adventurous. The creatures that exist in Wonderland are also interesting and compelling. I love those two books and everything about them. I love the idea of writing them and I also love the author for writing them. While reading them your mind never stops with imagery. You can see so many different, extravagant, marvelous things in your mind. Wonderland is definitely in my top ten fictional getaway places.

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie is a classic favorite of mine. The books is different from all the movies in many ways. Neverland is also in my top ten fictional getaway places. The island seems so beautiful when you read about it. There would be so many amazing places to visit on the imaginative island. One place I would love to visit would be the Mermaid Lagoon. Personally I think mermaids are beautiful, captivating, mysterious fictional creatures. The mermaids in Peter Pan are very playful as they hit around colored bubbles with their tails. Even Peter Pan and the Lost Boys home seems like a wonderful place to visit. The entrance way into the hidden home is a very clever idea. The place in which they live is a very homely place for the group of boys who stay young.

I am a book fanatic that is constantly reading a new book or re-reading one I have read before. Whilst reading books I think about what it would be like to be in the book, To be where the main character and other characters are. To see what the characters are seeing. I especially like that with The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, and Peter Pan.
