Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
The world has gone five years without entering themselves into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Ever since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Harry Potter fans have been craving for more of the universe created by one of the most creative minds of all time. But now, the new and much anticipated J.K. Rowling film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on November 18.
This will be a precursor to all of the Harry Potter films, taking place in New York in the 1920’s. However, it will not involve any of the characters from the original seven books and eight films. This film will follow the main character of Newt Scamander, a young wizard and Ministry of Magic employee that comes to New York City. He will later become the author of the textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Newt, much like Harry Potter, will befriend two new people in a new world that he has entered, and they will work together to achieve a common goal and defeat a dark force. Newt brings along with him a suitcase that contains many different magical beasts and creatures. With that factor and many other unpredictable elements taking place throughout the story, this film will definitely be a fun one to watch for all fans of the Wizarding World.
This film will be based on the novel series that J.K. Rowling has written herself. This film however will not be the only one of its kind. It has been confirmed that there will be five films in the series. So Potterheads can rejoice, there will be plenty of more Wizarding World content to come within the coming years. Already announced and confirmed for the sequels are Johnny Depp and potentially the man who played Albus Dumbledore most of the Harry Potter films, Michael Gambon. This film is sure to be an exciting expansion to the already magnificent world that was created by J.K. Rowling.
