There are plenty of attractions at Walt Disney World. Some are amazing experiences, while others have overstayed their welcome or are just plain bad. However, there are a number of attractions that are underappreciated and they really deserve some attention. These aren’t exactly what Disney would call an “E-Ticket Attraction” (a top tier attraction), but they certainly are enjoyable experiences for people of all ages.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress (Magic Kingdom)

As stated before, these attractions won’t be the kind that will draw huge amounts of people nor are they the most thrilling rides, but they definitely do have a lot of entertainment value. The Carousel of Progress was originally built for the New York World’s Fair, and it has stood the test of time. It tells a story of a family growing through the years and seeing how the world has changed around them. It is great storytelling, and while the animatronics may be a bit outdated, it it still a great attraction for the diehard Disney fans. Also, it is a great way to get out of the sun while also having a great time for about a half hour. As it is tucked away in the back corner of Tomorrowland, it is definitely one of Disney World’s most overlooked attractions.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority (Magic Kingdom)

This one is one of the most popular rides with diehard Disney fans. On a trip that a visitor is provided with plenty of time to spend at the parks, the TTA is an absolute can’t miss. It is located right in the middle of Tomorrowland, and it gives a full, beautiful tour around that same land. It even runs through Space Mountain, giving riders a different view of one of the more popular rides in Disney history. Much like the Carousel of Progress, it is a great way to just sit back and relax while taking in a great view. It’s just one of those attractions that have a short wait time, and it’s always worth taking the time out of the day to go take a seat and relax for a few minutes, taking in the view of the picturesque Tomorrowland.

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (Epcot)

In Epcot’s version of It’s a Small World, Donald Duck and company star in a quite enjoyable and entertaining boat ride. The ride takes place in the temple in the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase, and while it is one of the few attractions within that part of Epcot, it surely hits the mark with it’s colorful and laid back feel. For those visitors who may need a break from the long walk of World Showcase, it is a great way to just relax and slow down a busy day. It can be entertaining for both adults and children, and even if a visitor may not enjoy it, it allows them to take in the view of the inside of the temple, which is made to look like a nighttime scene.

Although these attractions have a lot to do with sitting back and relaxing, that’s what vacations are for. Disney World is such a busy place, and sometimes it’s just good to sit back and smell the roses. These are just some of underrated experiences that can be found at Walt Disney World. There are definitely others, and they are all worth while to go check out.
