Presidential Election Opinion
I am more neutral on the presidential elections. On one hand, I care about who gets elected for president, because after all, he/she will be the one making decisions for our country. Not that I’m saying I do not care about the elections, I just think that it is a whole bunch of drama and it is blown out of proportion. The whole campaigning deal is a little bit too much. For example, Donald Trump has gotten hats made and other items too, and I just think that that is where it starts to get out of hand. Also, I think that they start the campaigning for the elections way too early! They should not start campaigning until the year of the elections, not two years before. I do care about who gets elected, though. Having the responsibility of being in charge of the country is a big deal and someone who is not ready for that responsibility should not be able to be elected. It is just that I do not follow the news every minute there is something new about one of the candidates and I also think the press is to blame as well! The press is in the candidate’s’ business all the time, so there is always something on the news about them, and I think that is obsurred. To be quite honest, I only know that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are running. I have no idea who else is running against them because I have very little interest in politics.
