Lady Rockets Overview on an Unforgettable Season

The Lady Rockets finished their season a bit earlier than they had planned with a loss in the first round of playoffs against Winchester Thurston, but my team has nothing to hang their heads about after a season that we have had. 12-0 in section play and 20-2 overall. Only loss being to Wash High, who were the section champions in AA. We made history as we won the section title, the first one in JM history. Since my freshman year, we have made playoffs every year. We have had a back-to-back 20 win season and were the known for our stellar defense that did not let anyone in class A to score more than 35 points. The only team to score more than 43 was Wash High which was our only loss in the regular season. The team allowed the lowest points scored against us in all the WPIAL allowing 30.1 points per game.

Overall, this season has been very memorable. We accomplished a lot and I hope that next year, the team picks up where we left off and continues to strive. All in all, my senior year off basketball came to a screeching halt, but I can not complain with the accomplishments I have reached as well as my team.
