Last Friday I went to my first college football game and it happened to be California University playing. I will be attending Cal U in the 2017 fall for accounting. They played against Slippery Rock that happened to be in 8th place. I went with my boyfriends mother, Diane. We went, not only to watch the game, but to watch Tori. Tori is Tyler’s older sister and she is the mascot for Cal U. Blaze is the mascot’s name and he is a roman fire God. We got there around noon and found our seats. College football games are a lot different than high school games. The student section was crazy and was nothing compared to Jefferson Morgan’s student section. Since the students are older, they can get away with almost anything. Diane and I had a lot of fun just being the two of us. At halftime we went to get a snack and got a selfie with Blaze. Watching Blaze was probably my favorite part because she got so into it. Every time the Vulcans would score she would have to bang the hammer off the steel Cal U bar. The hammer weighed eight pounds and made Tori a little sore in that costume. After the game we went back to Diane’s house to meet Tyler there. We ate lunch and just talked the rest of the day. Later that night we all watched a movie and at 9:00 I went home to get some rest.
