Is it sad to say that my best friend is my cat Katie? We have the perfect friendship. My family got Katie when I was two years old. I am seventeen now. We have had Katie for fifteen years. Ever since I was born there has always been a cat in the house. Currently I have two other cats (Keegan and Jasmine), but none of them can compare to the one I have since I was two years old.

I am only six months older than Katie, which sounds really crazy! My cat is only six months younger than me! She loves everyone in the family except our dog Riley. Ever since we got him back at the beginning of the year she has been staying in my room 24/7. Before he got Riley back Katie’s favorite place in the whole house was the family room. But now that Riley is always in there she stays in my room the entire day. I really like that though. Katie is there when I wake up, when I go to sleep, when I am cleaning my room, etc. One thing I love most about her is she is a really big cuddler. She loves lying on backs, legs, stomachs, anywhere really.

Honestly I feel that the bond between my cat and I is the strongest bond there could be. I have so much love for her and she always shows her love to her owner. She has been with my almost my entire life.
