Since the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year there have been numerous additions to Jefferson Morgan High School. The biggest update would have to be the air-conditioning. The students and staff would be dripping in sweat at the beginning and end of the school year. Recently the new bathrooms in the front lobby were finished and they look great. I love how modern and updated the new bathroom is. The auditorium is also getting a makeover. It is getting new seats, floors, and walls. So far it looks really good.

Now that student drivers have to come in through the lobby there is a little breakfast bar set up. You can get all types of little snack and drinks for a small price. This is really nice because if I am running late and I’m hungry and I don’t have enough time to eat I can just buy something up front. Even the lockers were painted and the walls. The lockers use to be yellow and blue, now they are orange. Lastly Mr. Orr has taken it upon himself to make big wooden rocket signs throughout the school. The next update will be in the gym. Mr. Lesko is painting a huge rocket on the wall next to the basketball hoop. I am really happy about the updates the school has made.
