Out with the Old and in with the New
The past two years Jefferson Morgan High School has been stepping up their game. Mr. Orr has made it his job to make this school nice and up to date. There have been small and big adjustments that we have been getting use to. Recently, they have made every Tuesday a” catch up” day. Students have an enrichment day either in the morning or afternoon. This gives students a chance to catch up on missing assignments and homework.
The gym and auditorium have changed a lot. Mr. Lesko painted a huge rocket on the gym wall. Mr. Orr has taken some time to build a few cabinets in the gym to store items. In the auditorium, there are new and improved seats. Before they were wooden and falling apart. Now they are nice plush seats. The flooring and walls are even new. Also the hallways and lockers have been painted.
Lastly there are new signs all over the school, breakfast bar in the lobby, and new bathrooms. There are little signs walking into the school to tell you where the administration office is and the main office is. There are also signs walking into the gym that says, “No food or drinks.” Also the new bathrooms are a nice improvement. They have modern and new appliances. The breakfast bar was a great idea. When I don’t have enough time to get breakfast at home, I can just buy something quick in the lobby.
I am really thankful for the new updates. Since it is my last year, I want it to be the best as possible. I love all the new updates.
