New Year, New Me

2017 has rolled around and that means people are coming up with a new year goal or resolution. These are supposed to motivate people to become better. This year I will be graduating from high school and starting college in the fall. I am super nervous about it all. My goal for the year is to stay calm and to be stress free. College really scares me, because being in high school for four years and having everything done for you is quite comforting. The fact that I have to find a job and go to college stresses me out, but my goal is for it not to. I put little reminders up in my room to stay calm and to focus on the good.

My resolution is to eat more healthy. I make this resolution every year, but never stick to it. I plan on cutting back on snacks and replace them with water and vegetables. 37% of the people make this their resolution for the new year but only 12% stick to their word. At the end of the year I hope that I have stuck to my word and have lost 5-10 pounds. When I go to college there will be so much unhealthy food down there, so I’m going to have to avoid that and bring my own. This can also save some money too.
